Dr. Sharifeh Rezaee

Research Field: Electrocatalyst

Sharifeh completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. Currently, she is engaged in pioneering research as a postgraduate student, focusing on the synthesis, evaluation, and characterization of advanced electrocatalyst nanomaterials. Her expertise extends to the design and engineering of nanomaterial morphology for enhanced electrocatalytic processes. Specifically, Sharifeh explores the integration of various carbon nanomaterials with noble or non-noble metals in diverse forms (metals/metals oxides/alloys) and unique nanostructures to develop innovative multi-component catalysts. Additionally, her work involves the design and synthesis of 2D/3D bimetallic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) that serve as templates for the creation of highly porous carbon materials and hybrid metal, metal oxides, phosphides, sulfides, and nitrides. She is particularly dedicated to understanding the intricate relationships between material composition/morphology and resulting electrocatalytic performances.
