Principal investigator in charge of development of a computer code for simulation of 3-dimensional transient flow and combustion process in a spark ignition motor. Funding is provided by the Iran Khodro Automotive Manufacturing Group.


Co-principal investigator in charge of development of a computational tool for modeling the rotating stall phenomena in multistage GTE  compressors. Funding is provided by the Iran Aircraft Industries.


Principal investigator in the study of heat transfer enhancement in a venturi-type annular flow. Funding was provided by the National Research Office of the Ministry of Higher Education.


1996-1998:
Director of Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.


Principal investigator in charge of upgrading an existing incompressible wind tunnel to a 45 cm by 45 cm cross section and speed of Mach 0.2. Funding was provided by the National Research Office of the Ministry of Higher Education.

Principal investigator in charge of design and manufacture of a test rig for the evaluation of automotive radiators thermal performance. Funding was provided by Kooshesh Radiator Manufacturing Company.

1994-1998:
Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.

Co-principal investigator in charge of design and manufacture of a wind tunnel for measuring the performance of heavy machines air filters. Funding Office of National Standards was provided by Iranian.
Principal investigator in charge of analysis of a steady 3-dimenional flow and heat transfer in an annular combustor. Funding was provided by the Jahad Engineering and Research Center.

1988-1993:
PhD candidate, Department of Thermo- and Fluid Dynamics, Chalmers
University of Technology, Goteborg, Sweden. Conducted theoretical studies on flow and heat transfer characteristics in compact heat exchangers.

1984-1985:
Head of technical office of Jahad-e-Tavanir Co., Vanak Square, Tehran, Iran. Managed multiple project in power generation, transmission and utilization, including Sirjan 400 kV sub-station and Shiraz-Fasa 400 kV power transmission line.
